DIN Vario (multi) variable font infinitely adjustable in 3 axes: from thin to black: from Compressed to Expanded Italic Angle: from 0 to 15°
The fact that there are finally user programs that support variable fonts and thus offer the user the possibility to make fine adjustments in line thickness and width without having to deform the characters unnecessarily, immediately thrilled me as a font designer. You can use this technique in different ways. Either they are used to achieve only marginal deviations between small and large font sizes, for example, or, as is also possible in DIN Vario, to cover a wide spectrum between thin and black, narrow and wide and in a third axis even a stepless italic angle between 0 and 15°. This task places special demands on the designer and not every type face is equally suitable for this, because shapes must be designed at the respective extremes, which provide a correct result in every possible intermediate interpolation. It was a particular concern to me that the italic angle should also be infinitely adjustable, because how many times have one thought: why exactly 10°? What about 9° or 12°? This can only works with a few fonts with high quality and without loss. DIN Vario, however, is suitable for its robust design, really perfect for this new technology. In order to be able to react additionally to individual requirements, it is possible to change the form of the “a” and “g” from double-storey to single-storey and vice versa by setting the corresponding style-set (under OpenType features) not only in the italics, but also in all fonts.

Legit Didone is a didone typeface that features both optimal readability in small sizes as well as elegant aesthetics in display use. Tuerca font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2021. It is a slightly extended sans serif typeface with a strong technical appearence. Its squared, angular shapes provide a futuristic and robust aesthetics. It has been conceived to be most suitable for logos, headlines and display design pieces as well as short length text blocks.

Tuerca consists of 8 styles, each containing small caps and glyph coverage for several languages.

About the typeface
The build up of the inital project had the effect of bringing the different styles
closer together. Sans and Clarendon have a vertical axis and similar endings
in contrast to the Serif with a traditional diagonal axis.The straight stems from
the original project are used as an element to stress the closeness of the type
family. They thus share a comon feature.

I started designing a birthday card and finished up with this font. It’s a curvy, offbeat, decorative, childish all-caps display font with a hand-drawn feel. Use it for kids’ book covers, for branding and packaging designs, in lettering works, or for headlines. The font consists of capitals, digits, basic punctuation marks, and currency symbols.

Silent Waste is based upon a misspelling on a sign. It’s handdrawn, yet digitally manipulated. But you can’t tell!

Torus Pro is a rounded monoline typeface. As its name suggests, this is a more professional version of my original Torus family released in 2017. Each glyph has been scrutinised and redrawn where necessary. In addition, there are now italics, small caps, old style figures, and numerous other improvements.   

Torus Pro includes many new decorative alternates and ligatures that will add distinctive flourishes to your typographic compositions. With up to nine alternates for some glyphs, these additional styles include stencilled, simple dots, looped and smooth swashes, plus a more aggressive angled option for those looking for something a little different. When used subtly, these alternates and glyph combinations will add flair and personality to your own creations. Perfect for titling and branding, Torus Pro also packs a punch without these features activated, as well as being a comfortable read in long runs of text.

There are 12 fonts altogether, ranging from Thin to Heavy weights in both roman and italic. The variable font versions of the family allow you to define the weight exactly to your liking. Torus Pro has an extensive character set that covers all Latin European languages.

Sinete is all about creating wonderful words. Perfect for wedding invitations and other events as well as for refined logos and branding. This is also a great typeface for titles due to its delicate design and captivating look.

100.000 years ago years ago, a group of mad scientists from the far away planet ZyrXX, encountered the earth and just waited to conquer the planet. Their masterplan was to use electronic brain waves to manipulate our minds.
Sounds cheesy and comic, right? Well, that is the true story about this font. The font was built using a grid (hence the name!) and all I had in mind, was a mixture of old sci-fi movies and computer graphics from the 80ies. I did my best to recall and re-create this - I will let you be the judge to decide whether I succeeded! :)

Each letter is handmade and drawn with a “blobbly” pen, leaving a wobbly and grungyline. The corners are rounded which adds a blurry look to the rough lines. All in all, Jealous Radio is kind-looking,soft, yet rough and really organic looking! Useful for a wide range of things: from kids products, comics, posters, invitations or even protest banners!
