Eastport JNL is the interpretation by Jeff Levine Fonts’ of the classic Stymie Extra Bold (a/k/a Stymie Black), designed in 1931 for American Type Founders by Morris Fuller Benton.

Stymie and the somewhat similar Beton were both derivations of the popular European typeface Memphis.

Eastport JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

You may already found out that “Simple Mints” is a wordplay. The font itself is playful as well - the 5 different versions of each letter makes sure that your text is lively and playful!
Inspiration comes from both grafitti and comics…and my usual kind of sloppy handwriting - a mix that makes a great impression! :)

Inspired by a retro Art Deco poster as well as many of the true classic Art Deco type designs of the 1930s and 1940s, Deco Revisited JNL is a bold, black, stencil-influenced design with no counters.

Although being a contemporary design, its use in any retro project will truly evoke a feeling for the “streamline” era.

Deco Revisited JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Even though DropCase features only the characters of the capitalist American English alphabet, this solid headline font is supplied to you in armor casing. Boy, they’re everywhere. One of your neighbors is probably one of them, Freaking super-heroes (TM, ©, ®, SM blah blah blah) are more ubiquitous in cities these days than Simon Cowell is on talent shows. Notice how that guy on the subway—the one with the boy scout haircut?—see how he keeps his shirt buttoned all the way up? He’s not sweating either… that’s ’cause he’s probably from some dead planet that exploded twenty years ago. His REAL parents wrapped him in blankets and, when he turned 18, his Ma on Earth turned those same blankets into Long Underwear for her foster son. He’s probably wearing his long underwear right now. That’s why he’s smiling at you through his horn rimmed glasses. He thinks you don’t know. Thinks he’s special. Thinks he’s a super-hero (TM, ©, ®, SM blah blah blah). Ain’t that Super?

Homespun by Homely Nina Green (nee Nina Sutcliffe), over 18 years ago for her old college pal, Mister Comicraft (ne Richard Starkings), CHEEKY MONKEY is a chirpy and cheerful character set which has found its way over the years onto the title pages of comic books as disparate as Captain Britain, Doctor Who and Darkman. We’ve kept it to ourselves all this time because we thought it was just too precocious for mass consumption and way too impudent for its own good. Don’t turn your back on this font, baby, or it might pinch your bum!
