Kondes is our “101 Dalmatians” – it’s 101th release in our catalog! And it is the 1st one that belongs to variable typefaces. Kondes (which is made up word as mixture of “condensed” and “kondezovan” on Serbian) is simple, compact, straight-in-your-face sans serif family with 9 weights and 9 Italics. It was designed with purpose to serve and to be use in any project, from editorial to website. For example, Black weight could be used effectively as poster type, in big sizes while Regular fits perfectly as main webfont. Stem joining is done with generous ink trap that divides and opens letter contours, so letter breaths in smaller sizes. Contains extended Latin character set. Enjoy!

Within the pages of the Pettingill & Co. (Boston) 1901-02 specimen book is Camelot Old Style – a thin stroke spurred serif typeface with traces of Art Nouveau influence.

This had been redrawn digitally as Pettiford JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Page Printer JNL was inspired by “Skeleton”, from the William H. Page wood type foundry circa 1848.  Its name is a play on both Page’s surname as well as contemporary desktop printers.

A precursor to Art Deco headline/display sans serif typefaces with thick and thin strokes is the Matthews Series (circa 1902).  It was manufactured and sold through the Inland Type Foundry of St. Louis, MO.

Epica is a contemporary interpretation of the Venetian Renaissance types. A humanist type family with a contemporary design. This family has been designed in two different moments. Epica Serif, which have a more classical design, was finished 5 years ago in its first version. The first sketches were drew 8 years ago during the Master of Type Design at the University of Buenos Aires. Through the years was re design in several times to the point of reaching its current version. On the other hand, Epica Sans was completed in 2020 and is the counterpart of Epica Serif. A complementary system designed to enrich the serif version and give new options for hierarchy and composition. This is a versatile type family perfectly fit for books, editorial, and usage in print and on screens. It possesses great legibility in body texts, which makes it ideal for extended reading and supports a variety of languages.

Polate Soft is an altered modified from the form of the original “Polate” typeface. Designed to be more friendly, the font family has rounded terminals that harmonizes with rounded corners. With all of these features, “Polate Soft” is a prominent, eye-catching and unique typeface.
